13. ANY OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION:

I have served as resource person to various national organizations in the area of education and social development. I have participated in several national and international conferences and workshops in my areas of academic and research interest as a means of updating my knowledge and skills as an academic. I have also held positions of responsibility within the University system. I was an Academic Officer for the Institute of Education from !996 to 2008 where I was directly involved in the computation and issuance of Transcripts to all categories of students in the Institute. I was the Admission Officer for the Faculty of Education for five consecutive years (2006 – 2010).

Research Interests

RESEARCH FOCUS AND CONTRIBUTION TO KNOWLEDGE

My research has adopted a holistic approach of Statistics to the areas of education, experimental chemotherapy and social development. I formulated a model which is useful in evaluating multidimensional effects of plant extracts in particular specie of schistosomes in problems relating to experimental chemotherapy.

In my current area of research which is application of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) where the variables that tend to affect educational performance of adult learners are identified and developed. This is with a view to providing an appropriate framework for predicting educational performance.
